Submissions for Ink Lit Mag issue no. 14 (spring 2018) are now open! We will be accepting work for consideration from January 1st 2018 to 11:59 pm on February 15th 2018. Ink is open to submissions by all first-year University of Iowa students (regardless of major/area of study) as well as alumni of the IWLLC.

Ink Lit Mag is now accepting art in addition to literature submissions. We will accept all forms of digital and analog photography and scans or photos of paintings, drawings, sculptures, installments etc. Please ensure that your documents do not include your name or any other identifying characteristic. Remember, you must be a first-year student on campus to submit.

The maximum Art & Photography submissions for a single contributor is four (4) total pieces. Each submission must be submitted separately.

Please do not forget to include the dimensions and the mediums used. (i.e. Silver, copper, brass, earthenware, porcelain, plaster, etc.)in the box below. Your submission will not be considered if you fail to follow these instructions.

Please submit a clean original or digital file in PDF, PNG, JPEG, or TIFF form. Images need to be cropped to fit and dimensions should be included along with the medium and materials used to creating your piece. (i.e. Film or digital, painting in oil or acrylic, lithography/release/indigo, 3D render or graphic, etc.) 

 

Sculptural pieces/ 3D pieces:

A photo of your sculpture or 3D piece should be lit with soft lighting, preferably shot with a white background, and cropped tightly. Please submit your photo in PDF, PNG, JPEG, or TIFF form. You must also submit dimensions and the mediums used. (i.e. Silver, copper, brass, earthenware, porcelain, plaster, etc.)
